Our take

A.Team is an artificial intelligence company that launched as a member-only gig marketplace for “builders” - product engineers and other high-skill tech workers. It is now building "Assemble", an agentic AI platform to help enterprises get the most from their data.

The company’s launch came at an opportune time. The so-called “great resignation” opened up a world of opportunities for skilled tech workers, and saw the global gig economy generate more money than ever. It is now targeting a similarly growing and lucrative market, by enabling enterprises to harness AI to generate real business value.

This approach to enterprise AI stands out because it goes beyond the automations that are now readily available, creating intelligent systems that help teams that are swamped by data to actually generate insights. As it enters its next stage of development, A.Team looks to transition from custom client solutions to a scalable platform model - and it is building out its team to support this change.
