Abatable

Abatable is tackling one of the biggest problems of our lifetime, climate change. Two things that I find particularly interesting is the focus on market-based solutions that have the potential to scale globally, and the focus on improving the quality and transparency of the market to ensure that supported projects have a real and significant impact.

Abatable's hybrid model works really well for me. Having the opportunity to work 2-3 days from the office and the rest remote gives me the flexibility I need, and at the same time, it also allows me to connect to my co-workers in person.

Building a startup by itself is a really interesting challenge, building one in an emerging market even more so. The mix of technical, product and company building challenges is fantastic and provides lots of opportunities for personal growth.

Learning about carbon markets as they develop is intrinsic to my role. From rainforests, kelp forests and carbon capture, there are always opportunities to learn.

Abatable is a high-growth early-stage start-up that is in the process of building a team and scaling. The founders place as much emphasis on scaling your professional development as they do the company itself.

Climate change is affecting our everyday lives and we need to make massive shifts in the ways we work, travel and eat.
