Described as “a pocket PT”, Able is an app that supports users in building a healthier lifestyle and losing weight. In the past, weight watching has been a controversial topic and companies operating in this space need to be careful of how and what they are supporting and encouraging. Able is setting itself apart with a holistic approach and making it clear it does not count calories.
Users of the app purchase a subscription for 1-1 coaching with wellness professionals all vetted by Able itself. The goal is to support users in making their overall lifestyle healthier and happier rather than just fixating on losing weight.
Founder Roman Taranov comes from a successful entrepreneurial background with extensive knowledge in the software development and mobile payment sector. They have a strong mission to digitise and improve user experience which is an exciting idea to marry with a wellness platform.
