Communication between patients and nurses/doctors has typically happened via telephone call or post. This outdated technology is costly and doesn't provide a great experience. Accurx solves this problem with its communication and collaboration platform.
Accurx is building tools that allow GPs and other healthcare providers to communicate more efficiently with their patients and with each other in order to deliver top-quality care. Its products are now used in over 95% of GP practices. This is testament to the value of Accurx's platform.
Since raising considerable funding, Accurx has been focused on growing its team and developing its products, including batch messaging between clinics and patients, to help care sites ease the burden of long wait lists and understaffing. With these challenges continuing to mount for the health system, Accurx is likely to remain in high demand for the foreseeable future.

One of the finest onboarding experiences with proactive communication through the process. I was sent a personalised presentation deck with granular level details of my offer and some of the positive feedback people had written about me following my interviews. The wonderful company handbook really helped me get a feel for the company culture and expedited my settling in process. The new joiner survey was special! They gave me the option to choose my preferred tech (i.e. top-spec laptop, ergonomic chair and keyboard etc.), my dietary preferences (including the free food items I would like stocked in the kitchen/pantry on a daily basis). This was truly a masterclass in onboarding where I truly felt that the company cared and was ecstatic about me joining them!

AccuRx offers some of the best and most thoughtful benefits across the tech startup space. Plenty of thought has been put into employee happiness and wellbeing. A few relevant examples are the 28 holidays in a year (in addition to bank holidays and 1-month unpaid leave), flexibility to work from anywhere in the world for 2 weeks in a year, unlimited use of the full-time mental wellbeing therapists, free lunches that are healthy and eaten together on the company dining table, pet-friendly office, the £500 wellness budget. I love working for accuRx because our product is the default in primary care. It's a position of huge trust and responsibility which has meant we've been able to put tools on doctors hands just as they've needed them. For example in the lead up to the first Coronavirus lockdown we released a feature to enabled doctors to carry out video consultations just as it was needed and which undoubtedly saved lives and reduced the spread of the virus.

We get feedback from our users every single day about how our product has fundamentally changed the way they work. It's so rewarding to know that the work you do is contributing to making healthcare workers' lives easier and therefore improving the patient experience. I haven't had a single case of the Sunday blues since I joined.

Everyone at this company cares so much. The leadership team put a lot of effort into the culture and that trickles down through management. I feel like I can be completely honest with my manager and that things actually happen off the back of our 1-1s, which is not a given in most companies.

I get on with everyone in the company and we have managed to maintain our culture and energy despite doubling in size over the course of just 9 months. We have weekly "Show and Tell" and every week I'm astonished at how much the team has achieved across so many different areas.

We're able to see the impact of our work every single day. We make sure we stay really close to our users, they join company-wide calls each week and hearing them talk about how accuRx has changed their professional lives or that losing us would be like 'losing an arm' makes you feel very proud and lucky to work for such an inspiring company.

I've worked in other places where this has been talked about from a leadership team, but not ever actually seen in practice... that's quite the opposite at accuRx. Being open and honest and having a culture of giving and receiving feedback means that we're constantly striving for improvement and we're able to help each other grow and learn. Every week we can anonymously post questions to our CEO & CTO, but most people choose to do this in the session together as there are no 'out of bounds' topics.
