Our take

With rising energy prices in the UK and decarbonisation efforts accelerating, technology companies are racing to develop solutions that enable a large-scale transition to sustainable energy grids. Allye Energy is one such company, offering distributed energy storage solutions that reduce power bills for businesses and homes transitioning to clean energy.

By leveraging digital twins, machine learning, and AI, Allye optimises and monitors the performance of energy grids. These technologies allow Allye's energy storage systems to learn and adapt over time, ensuring that smart grid batteries stay in service longer while also lowering electricity costs - potentially reducing energy bills by up to 50%.

While the company is still young, it's expanding through an exciting partnership with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) to develop a portable energy system using repurposed Range Rover batteries. This collaboration supports JLR's sustainability goals while positioning Allye as a key player in the circular economy. As Allye continues to grow, this partnership could help accelerate its expansion and drive its future success in the clean energy sector.
