Amplify Trading's mission is to widen participation in the financial industry through providing training that bridges the gap between theory and practice in financial market trading.
Our take
According to Amplify Trading, universities don't prepare students for a career in finance as even entry-level jobs require an extensive understanding of markets which can only be attained through practical experience. It aims to solve this problem by providing aspiring traders with a comprehensive learning experience, combining theory and practice, to help them succeed in the highly competitive financial industry.
The company offers various programs, depending on customer's needs. It provides a Summer Analyst Training Programme for second-year university students interested in finance, a Technology Financial Training Programme for university students interested in applications of technology in finance, and a Professional Trading Training Programme for aspiring traders of all ages.
Amplify Trading differentiates itself through the simulations it offers to participants, which allow future traders to experience and learn from real-life situations that occur on the trading floor. The costs associated with its programs are high, thus the main challenge it faces at this point is finding ways to improve its programs and convince more students about the return on their investment.
