To deliver precision medicine to everyone in the world, within 24 hours.
Every year, thousands of preventable deaths occur due to inefficiencies in our healthcare systems. Anima is setting out to solve this problem by delivering an automated total triage system to healthcare practitioners.
Anima was founded by a Cambridge University-trained doctor and was part of the prestigious startup accelerator Y Combinator's Winter 2021 batch, raising a $2.5M seed round in just 4 days. Anima can speed up clinical workflow by ten times by safely automating healthcare to an unprecedented level - taking a history, abstracting the data, and outputting recommendations with auto-generated clinical notes and patient comms. Since launching, Anima has successfully launched in practices across the UK, where it is used by real doctors and patients.
Anima has set an ambitious and challenging goal, but after a product update in December 2023, it has already reduced the time practices spent on coding, processing, and managing documents by 50%. This marks a significant step towards achieving its objective. In addition, the company recently secured funding, which will support the release of Anima 1.5 and accelerate its deployment to tens of millions of patients and healthcare professionals globally.
