Our take

Anka, formerly known as Afrikrea, is an eCommerce platform dedicated to bringing African-made products to a global audience. The platform serves as a marketplace where African artisans, designers and entrepreneurs can showcase and sell their products to customers worldwide.

By focusing on promoting African creativity and craftsmanship, Anka aims to highlight the diversity and richness of the continent's culture and heritage, as well as providing African artisans with the opportunity to reach a larger customer base and expand their business beyond local markets.

Since its establishment in 2016, Anka has grown and adapted to the ever-changing market. In 2022, the company launched a mobile app, further enhancing global access to its retailers. By leveraging popular technology, Anka continues to facilitate cross-cultural exchange and economic growth by providing a seamless and accessible platform for both sellers and buyers.
