It’s recognized that there are a number of flaws in the US healthcare system. In fact, the US spends more on healthcare than any comparable country - but has broadly worse health outcomes. And Anterior believes that overbearing administrative duties are a contributor to this.
To help combat this, the company delivers programs that help automate workflows like prior authorization, work through proofs of concept for AI initiatives, make informed decisions and more. It has begun by serving the payer side, but has its sights set on tackling the wider healthcare system in the future.
The company has been successful so far, raising a seed round of funding and attracting investment from notable figures like Mustafa Suleyman.
