I've never been in a team environment where the values are understood so clearly and therefore used so regularly in situations both big and small. From company-wide meetings to the simple 1:1 meetings, the team cites our values as the driver for our thinking and decisions.

Over the past 4 years, I've had the opportunity to work and learn across multiple business functions including customer service, operations, sales, data and strategy.

Appear Here is a place where data matters in every area of the business. It's how we see what's working and what we can improve upon! I love that my job is collaborating with people who know how important it is to not only strive for good results, but who understand that data and the lessons we learn from it are how we'll continue to build an excellent and meaningful end-to-end experience for our users.

I've never had such freedom and power to build what I want to build, the way I want to build it, than I have at Appear Here. It's like the Disneyland of Making Ideas Happen, and that doesn't just start and end at our customers. I've been given the room to learn and grow in skill and confidence and now I lead projects of my own, I own important processes, I take charge of the work I do every single day. It's completely evolved the way I work and look at problems.

In over 2 years in my role at the company, I've been challenged to think inside the box, outside the box, above the box. I've been challenged to think of whole new boxes altogether. It's what I love most about my work at Appear Here, no two days have ever been the same. In the morning I don't think, "Oh, this again?" I think "Oh, how am I gonna do this?" To me, that thought is one of the best ways to start my day, because from there, anything in the world becomes possible!

No matter what the question is, no matter how simple or complex, all the members of management always help me find the answer and become a better member of the team. I appreciate that they always open for one on one and give honest feedback on how I can improve.

Everyone on the team is unique and full of life. We can have a laugh and also get serious work done.

Everyone is upfront and honest, theres no back biting. The communication is clear and honest. You get told when you have done a goo job, and where you need to improve.

I've never before been part of such an energetic and inspiring team - from the very top down to the most junior head everyone is committed to the mission - the passion and enthusiasm displayed is infectious and is carried from the desk to the team to the workplace and into our branding.
