We are on a mission to democratise strategic sourcing.
Sourcing and procurement are key processes for many businesses, ranging from large enterprises to SMEs. Yet many such businesses are stuck in the past. In fact, over 95% of businesses still rely on Excel to evaluate supplier bids, a system which is slow and prone to user biases and errors.
Archlet wants to be at the forefront of change in this market. Founded in 2019, Archlet is a user-first sourcing software company that helps its customers make better sourcing decisions faster by providing best-in-class sourcing, analytics and optimisation capabilities. It's secured partnerships with the likes of PepsiCo, Emmi Group, Deutsche Bahn and Gordon Food Service.
Archlet secured $10 million in Series A funding in 2021, which it is using to prioritise growth. It faces tough competition from the likes of Supari and Capterra. Key to getting ahead in this market will be making the best use of AI and machine learning, which have great potential in this field. If its early successes are anything to go by, though, Archlet looks well positioned to make the most of this and create real success in the future.
