Our take
Arqit is a pioneering cyber security technology. Their QuantumCloud product allows any device to download a software agent that can create limitless volumes of secure keys.
The fast expansion of blockchain in the financial services sector has made it imperative for digital assets to be quantum safe in order to survive increased scrutiny as computing evolves. Arqit aims to eliminate the threat of cyber-attack and data theft through their quantum encryption tool.
The company has also completed its business combination with Centricus Acquisition Corp, a London-based investment firm, and is now trading on the NASDAQ. Despite only launching in 2021, Arqit’s Platform-as-a-Service encryption product has rapidly managed to gain numerous customers in sectors such as telecoms, defence, financial services and automation, with BT signing-on to become Arqit’s exclusive reseller in the UK.

Previously, they spent 7 years at Juniper Networks as a Cloud Business Development Director, 4 years at IBM UK as a Product Manager of Cloud Software Solutions and another 4 years at Intelliden as a Professional Services Team Lead.
