Company mission

To bring compelling works of contemporary generative art to life.

32% employee growth in 12 months

Our take

Art Blocks has become a hub for “generative” art created by algorithms and code generated by the Ethereum blockchain. The platform offers artists a system for user interaction, where patrons send funds to an art installation in order to create unique but repeatable reactions from the art.

The company was founded with promise, securing Jeff Davis as one of its digital artists, leading to an influx of artists applying to be a part of the project. It also has a unique emphasis on creating a world of good, offsetting over 20,000 tonnes of CO2, as well as donating large amounts to charitable organizations whilst encouraging its artists to do the same.

Art Blocks has grown significantly since its founding, having invested funding in expanding its engineering team. Though it did experience a downturn in activity when the hype surrounding NFTs began to dwindle, it has continued to improve its capabilities and secure new partnerships, and interestingly enough experienced somewhat of a revival mid-2023.
