Company mission

To create a new way for builders to experiment and innovate with usable decentralization while retaining Bitcoin security.

Our take

Distributed Crafts is a company focused on expanding what's possible within the cryptocurrency space, with a strong emphasis on innovation in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Its flagship product, BOB (short for Build On Bitcoin), sits at the heart of this mission.

BOB is a Layer-2 solution designed to make Bitcoin more flexible and usable for modern applications. By bridging the Bitcoin and Ethereum ecosystems, it combines Bitcoin's security with Ethereum's liquidity, giving developers a more powerful foundation to build on.

Importantly, BOB isn't just tied to Bitcoin's price either. Instead, it acts as a tool that allows developers to create and experiment, offering support for smart contracts and other advanced features that aren't traditionally associated with Bitcoin.

With $1.2M raised in seed funding, Distributed Crafts is continuing to grow BOB's presence and drive adoption.
