Our take
Raising capital for digital ventures can be extremely difficult. Bloom solves this problem by providing fast, affordable capital to digital entrepreneurs.
Bloom is headed up by former-Morgan Stanley executive James Hickson, whose connections to the venture capital world have benefited the company immensely. Bloom recently raised £300m in funding, which is testament to the company's vision and product. What's more, Bloom now works with the likes of Shopify, Amazon and eBay.
Bloom sets itself apart from traditional firms and providers through its focus on digital businesses, but it will need to work hard on scaling its customer base if it is to compete with rival companies.
