Company mission

To create inclusive AI technology that lays the foundation for comfortable bra experiences.

Our take

Numerous studies prove that there is a direct correlation between ill-fitting bras and muscle pain, breast pain, poor posture and low self-confidence. Yet, 80% of women are wearing the wrong bra size.

This is largely because getting fitted using a measuring tape only has a 30% accuracy rate in comparison to "eye-sight" bra-fitters, professionally trained employees that would be much more expensive for retail stores. As well as this, the lingerie industry is still far from being inclusive to all bra-wearers: with the demands of communities such as LGBTQ+, plus size, and cancer survivors still going largely unheard

Brarista is setting out to help solve this female wellness issue and redress the problem of diversity and inclusion in the industry. Their B2B2C AI bra-fitting solution is democratizing professional bra fittings and simply needs a mobile phone's camera to work

Brarista is still developing its technology but it has already received a lot of recognition. They won the UK Government's "Women in Innovation" award and are funded by Innovate UK. This funding is being invested into continuing to collect data from volunteers in order to improve the accuracy of their solution
