In the fall of 2020, Alliance Data acquired Bread in a $450 million deal, leading to the formation of Bread Financial as the umbrella company for all its services (such as BreadPay). Despite the challenges of the microeconomic environment, the company has seen significant success and is on the road to even more growth going forward.
