Our take
Though founded in 2012 - before the AI tech revolution - Breathe launched with an ethos befitting the present - to help businesses free up time to focus on what’s important. The rise in automation and deep tech has only aided Breathe’s platform, with more than 13,000 UK businesses now using it.
Breathe’s HR platform is designed for the management, retention and development of talent within a company, streamlining tasks such as performance tracking, shift scheduling, recruitment and holiday management. Many of these are arduous and time-consuming tasks for HR teams, and Breathe’s software ensures that anyone in a team can use it, regardless of technical ability.
In 2020 during the height of the work-shattering COVID pandemic, Breathe was purchased by Australian software company ELMO, attracted to the impressive growth of Breathe since its launch. This acquisition helped Breathe to expand into new markets.
