Our take

When Brqy launched its talent assessment platform in 2020, it was focused more on accurate recruitment. Its AI was predominantly used by hiring managers to analyse job descriptions and identify suitable candidates

While this is still one of the platform’s main features, it’s since expanded its offering to also cater for talent development, retention, internal mobility, team building, and improved Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) in hiring and promotion

The company’s slight pivot towards DE&I has proven to be a wise move, as there’s been a huge rise in demand for truly unbiased recruiting solutions by way of AI and Machine Learning based algorithms

Bryq has been growing strongly since launch, seeing a huge surge in revenue in 2021 and winning plenty of awards as well as media praise. What makes this more impressive is how, until very recently, Bryq was able to scale without much VC backing. Now that funding is secured, things could accelerate quickly

Leadership

Spent six years at Microsoft, climbing the ranks from Engineer to Product Manager, then Senior Product Manager. Before co-founding Bryq, they spent over a decade at leading Mobile Marketing company Upstream, serving in a number of senior roles including SVP and General Manager of Middle East, North Africa (MENA) and Asia.

Seasoned Developer & Engineer. Former Lead Engineer of Persado's Special Projects team, former Technology Advisor to MedShr - a GMC and HIPAA compliant doctors' network with almost 2 million members. Was CTO at Lulu Inc, as well as a Senior Developer at Green Man Gaming, a multi-award-winning retailer, publisher and distributor in the video games industry.
