Our take

Though it was founded in 1999, Cardata’s products are more important than ever. Amidst international moves towards hybrid work set ups and a more intense focus on electric vehicles and carbon reduction, the daily commute has become a real sticking point for companies negotiating with their employees.

Cardata’s suite of reimbursement software, compliance programs and business intelligence tools help companies manage the personal vehicles of their employees. Its tools include IRS compliant tax-free car allowances, GPS tracking, and payment streamlining tools that help companies better manage their employees' travel, all without having to invest in a corporate car fleet.

Cardata has clearly evolved with the times and enjoyed a tripling of annual recurring growth since its new leadership team stepped in. It also received $100 million in growth equity in 2023, which is being put towards new and existing product innovation, and the increase of market coverage.
