Our take
Cera is a professional home healthcare service that works via a digital platform to provide transparent, consistent, and efficient care. The idea was born from personal experience, after one of its founders experienced the crises of inefficiencies and outdated systems that come with trying to organise care for a loved one.
With digital monitoring, Cera allows its carers to predict and prevent changes to the condition of those in their care, and respond to deterioration much faster than traditional methods. Further, the platform reduces the burden of ‘pen and paper’ administrative work for carers, enabling them to concentrate on delivering care.
Because Cera's platform requires lower overhead than traditional providers, the company is able to pay above market average while still offering affordable rates, allowing it to recruit experienced and capable carers that deliver high quality care. It is a well-funded company with significant growth plans, and continues to launch disruptive features such as its high-accuracy Fall Prediction AI.

Cera has engineers all over Europe and we work with an agency in South America. So it is a very diverse team where we work remotely most of the time. Once a week I travel to our office in Farringdon and meet with my London colleagues.

Since joining Cera I have been given responsibility to manage the entire Tech Recruitment lifecycle for the Engineering, Product & Data teams.
