Our take
Having grown rapidly over the past few years, data warehouses are critical to decision-making, and help companies bring information together from different source systems. While there is plenty of options for data transformation, they each come with their own limitations, often allowing little flexibility and costing engineers considerable time.
Looking to fill this gap is Coalesce Automation, a San Francisco-based startup offering data transformation without the downsides. Managing and building transformations in the Snowflake data cloud, Coalesce is solving the largest bottleneck in analytics today through the combination of intuitive graphical user interfaces and code flexibility, resulting in high-quality data for analysis as well as increasing engineers' productivity.
While Coalesce isn't the only player in the space, this hasn't slowed it down - the company has onboarded multiple Fortune 500 customers since launching in 2020. And with substantial funding raised in 2024, Coalesce is set to scale its business even further, backed by an ambitious roadmap that promises an exciting future ahead.
