Our take

In order to work at the "speed of thought", developers need coding tools that support their processes instead of slowing them down. This is exactly what Coder provides, with a platform that enables organizations to build their own development platform in the cloud.

The platform is built for enterprise scale, and supports remote teams - a crucial selling point for businesses with increasingly distributed workforces. It is also the first platform to be self-hosted, open source and compatible with any cloud, IDE, OS, Git provider or IDP.

It is these features which make Coder a strong option in the market, with the potential to speed up and improve the developer experience. In 2020 it raised a substantial funding round that has gone towards product innovation and global growth, with the platform now used by the likes of Infosys, Mercedes-Benz and Goldman Sachs.
