Our take
In 2018, UK Web Media and Energy Helpline merged to form Comparison Tech. Comparison Tech is a switching service that allows users to get the best deal on their home services (energy, broadband, TV and telephone).
Comparison Tech works with both businesses and consumers. They partner with companies such as Sky to deliver bespoke switching services to their clients. Other partners include Compare the Market, Santander and BT. Comparison Tech also delivers switching services directly to consumers via its brands - Broadband Finder, Broadband Compared, Digital TV, Energy Helpline and Mobile Phones.
Since the merger in 2018, they have hired a new CEO- Julie Harris- and are prioritising signing up even more big name partners across a vast variety of sectors in the future.
