I joined Cuckoo in January in the Growth team, in the first few months I spend time with our Eggsperts getting to grips with customer support and helping our customers on the front line. It was a great experience to really understand our customers. Since then, I've had full autonomy on the initiatives that I've been working on and spend a lot of time working with people from across Cuckoo, from Service, tech & brand to create some amazing stuff I'm really proud of. The senior leadership team are all very friendly, approachable & welcome feedback. They are also keen to push you to achieve what you can!

Cuckoo's mission is to disturb the broadband sector, and we do this by offering low prices, good customer service, and transparent costs. With the recent acquisition from Giganet, they now have the backing and financial power to really make this dream come true. Cuckoo focuses on the customer service end, and we have been rated with the best service on trustpilot for the last two years!

Cuckoo has allowed me to work completely remote, as they were a start-up during COVID they weren't able to have a physical office, however, with the option of remote they have been able to recruit staff all over the UK and allow us to work independently from our homes, we communicate via an online platform. Cuckoo also cooperates with some of my colleagues with commitments such as picking up children from school. I think this flexibility creates a relaxed yet productive environment where people feel catered for.

The culture at Cuckoo is truly something unique, I feel excited to log in and speak to my colleagues every day. We are all energetic, uplifting, and supportive. This can be championing not-so-good times and celebrating achievements, work or not work-related! After my first week at Cuckoo, my colleagues questioned as to why I was so excited, and my answer was. 'Everyone is just so cool. Cuckoo also provides in-person events, paid for the expense by Cuckoo, to help us engage with each other socially.
