Our take

CyberSmart was created by a group of security experts, who noticed that companies needed to secure themselves and achieve information security standards, but found the process too complicated or were limited by resources.

Through making security accessible, CyberSmart has already achieved tremendous growth and currently protects tens of thousands of users. It is employed by more than 4,000 small businesses and attracted further investment in early 2023 to bring its total funding to nearly $27 million.

The security standards for organisations across all sectors are growing in importance as firms continue to hold more and more data. CyberSmart has already established itself as a trusted partner to help firms to achieve these required standards amidst a continual rise in cyber attacks.

As the information security trend continues to be a company's first official line of defence against increasingly dangerous attacks online, CyberSmart should continue to see a rise in partnerships and see its profile boosted over the next few years as it helps more and more firms to achieve cyber security compliance standards and protect their data.
