To help fintechs and institutions build and operate onchain, with the security and reliability expected of systemically important firms.
To date, most crypto assets have been secured through private keys, creating two major challenges. First, these keys can be compromised, as demonstrated by the $600M Ronin hack in 2022. Second, users can permanently lose access to their assets if they lose their private key. DFNS' approach is designed to address both.
By building secure, keyless wallet infrastructure, DFNS allows financial institutions and Web3 applications to manage digital assets without putting the burden of key management on users. Its infrastructure combines security with a simpler customer experience and greater institutional control.
Following funding from White Star Capital, DFNS plans to expand its team and broaden its keyless wallet infrastructure across major DeFi applications, Its partnership with PhotonPay also shows a broader use case, integrating DFNS' wallet infrastructure and Policy Engine into payment infrastructure. The integration allows PhotoPay's 200,000+ enterprise customers to manage collections, payouts and treasury across fiat and stablecoin networks from a single platform, with programmable compliance cotnrols and automated transaction workflows.
