Our take
Density is a planning application, which holds a vast amount of data on the technical infrastructure of cities, buildings, and spaces. This makes it easier to plan workspaces and manage operating expenses, and in the process potentially saves companies billions of dollars on real estate costs.
The business uses sophisticated technology to calculate the occupancy of entire buildings and floors, and that enables businesses to adapt their operation in the most efficient and flexible way possible. This offers huge value to many companies, particularly considering the excessive costs associated with urban real estate and office space.
Density is not the only solution on the market, with Cisco Meraki, Purple, SpotOn Wifi and Local Measure also attempting to deliver office space solutions. But the algorithms included in Density have been praised, with the software particularly intuitive and user-friendly, and superior insights being delivered by its sophisticated package. To bolster this success, the company has acquired several small businesses recently, with the intention of better enabling hybrid workplaces.
