With digitalization forcing companies to significantly up their online presence, web design platforms like Duda have seen a major boost. Duda focuses on web design agencies, providing white label services which allow these companies to quickly develop and maintain multiple client websites.
Alongside a website builder that rivals competitors WordPress and Wix in terms of ease of use, Duda offers a raft of collaboration and analytics tools among its white label services. As eCommerce has exploded in popularity in recent years, a trend which is showing no signs of slowing down, these features have been particularly valued by Duda's customer base and have fuelled a large part of the company's growth.
Duda reports that 60% of its customers are WordPress migrants, suggesting it is successfully wrestling a niche market share off of a big-name competitor through refining a specific and lucrative service. Duda is used by more than 20,000 agencies and SaaS providers including Ionos, GoDoaddy and appfolio, and a new website is created ever 17 seconds on the platform.
Duda recently acquired Canada-based Snipcart, a startup that enables businesses to add a shopping cart to their websites. Together, the companies plan to offer new capabilities such as payment and membership tools inside of the Duda platform.
