Company mission

To lead in continuous, science-grade understanding of planetary change through broad-area change detection and AI-driven geospatial analytics.

Our take

By leveraging big data, large scale computing, satellite imagery and AI to gain more accurate insights on the planet, geospatial intelligence is being put to use for a wide range of purposes, from raw materials and minerals sourcing to urban planning, insurance underwriting to policy making. It’s a quickly growing space, with the geospatial analytics market growing by around 16% every year.

EarthDaily utilizes a 10-satellite constellation to provide near real-time Earth observation data. With its roots in agricultural data, the company's 2021 acquisition of satellite imaging company UrtheCast's assets led to its current iteration as a daily broad-area change detector. It partners with companies to offer predictive intelligence about food security, climate resilience and geotechnical risk through satellite imaging and AI processing.

The company’s 2024 acquisition of Descartes Labs accelerated Earth Daily's AI capabilities, while in 2026 it launched its ten satellites into orbit. Earth Daily's assets and decades' worth of agricultural experience mean it's well-placed to meet escalating climate challenges head-on.
