Our take
Edgefolio was created to enable the flow of capital to the best-rated funds in order to maximise the function of capital markets. The company aims to do this through digitisation. Its web platform connects institutional investors with relevant hedge funds, creating technology-driven solutions for a traditionally conservative and fragmented industry.
Investors are benefited by Edgefolio being secure and compliant, enabling them to easily shop around to find the best deal whilst retaining full anonymity. Hedge funds are provided with a scalable marketing platform and a highly sophisticated investor relations portal, providing an attractive option for users. Its this focus on digitisation is what sets Edgefolio apart.
The company's long-term vision is to build cutting-edge products for the fund management industry, from dynamic and data-rich fund platforms to enterprise solutions serving larger clients. It continues to establish high-profile partnerships with leading hedge funds such as MPP&E Capital, which joined its platform in 2024.
