Elder is the first company I have worked for, where everyone is aligned in the Mission and why they are there. We are trying to tackle big, society issues and it is great to see so much enthusiasm across all different departments.

Feedback is always welcomed, more so, proactive actions off the back of feedback. Elder always wants to improve and wants people to be part of the solution.

The mission at Elder is very clear... that no one should be forced to go into a Care Home if it is not the best option for them. We care about those who need care, as well as the carers.

The people at Elder are very passionate about the mission and the end goal, we are always looking to improve ways of working, while maintaining our integrity, and commitment to the cause. We are an inclusive workforce with a drive to empower all our employees, and help develop and grow each individual.

Our tech is one to be proud of! We are continuously looking to improve our technology which in turn has an extremely positive impact on our carers and customers. Our product and tech is disrupting the Healthcare industry and we want to be forerunners in changing this environment for the better.

We are fast paced, and as such the learning curve is vast and expansive. As a company we have Udemy which we are encouraged to use and expand our knowledge. As well as our Personal development plans and one to ones, where we look at areas of improvement or learning.

Every employee is committed to Elder's mission and this is evident when you witness & experience every team's hard work and passion on a daily basis.

Elder launched Flexible working in 2021 which was great. What is even better is a survey was then sent out to the company reviewing the policy. Ou feedback was taken on board and this has since been adapted to reflect what our employees would like to see.

One of the main reasons I joined Elder was because of their ethos and mission. It is very rewarding to work for a company with people that want to make a positive impact on society now and for generations to come.

Transparency and openness are at the heart of everything we do here at Elder. This encourages healthy and productive discussion about how we overcome our individual and shared challenges, as well as providing opportunities to celebrate what we do really, really well.

I passionately believe in Elder's mission and it reminds me every day about the great work that we do. Being able to share the Elder story in the course of my role as a recruiter, is simply one of the best parts of the job. I now work alongside some of those really talented people who are as equally inspired and determined to deliver on that mission.

There can be no greater challenge at the moment than how we look after our parents, grandparents and the elderly in general. At Elder we provide dignity, care and support, our technology solutions allow this at pace, bringing care quicker to those who need it.

The senior management appreciates that they do not have all of the answers and by creating an environment where opinions and ideas are valued, means that we can bring the right solution at pace to our clients and customers.

Not one day goes by when I don't hear "how can we do this better?" Seeking Excellence is one of our values and this plays out in the work we do for our carers and customers. Working in the People team for a scale-up means that you have a continuous backlog of improvements which you continuously chip at while running a busy day-to-day.

Our mission is so compelling and shows up on a daily basis when we hear stories from our customers and carers. The carers who work with us are true gems and hearing about what they do and how they change our customers' daily life anchors me back to what we try to achieve.

Working in a high growth scale-up can be hard, but ultimately so rewarding if you keep your mind open to learning and hands-on work. Personally, this means that I can help others develop, learn more about what it takes to run this type of business from all angles and from cross-functional expertise.
