To reimagine computing to meet the needs of cutting-edge AI.
EnCharge AI was founded in 2022 by a team of experienced technology professionals with expertise in semiconductor design and AI systems. The company is working on developing advanced AI accelerators that can be utilized for Edge-Cloud computing deployments.
Like most AI hardware startups, EnCharge is targeting edge computing use cases however, the company's unique processor design utilizes charge-based memory. Unlike conventional memory, this design reads data from the electrical current on a memory plane instead of individual bit cells.
Although relatively new to the market, the company has already established itself as a pioneer in cutting-edge AI hardware and software systems designed for edge computing. EnCharge has already secured five patents for its work and while it doesn't expect to ship a production-ready device until early 2024, it's already in active discussion with potential customers.
