EquityBee makes money by charging the investor an upfront fee on the day of the investment day, plus interest upon a successful exit or IPO.

The company has experienced significant growth in recent years with nearly a 4x increase in the amount of employees funded via its platform and the amount of money it raised to fund stock options increasing by almost 6x.

Despite this, Equity Bee currently has the fewest employees using its platform compared to Cashwagon, InvertirOnline.com, illion and PAYBACK. The company still has a lot of growing left to do. They will be reliant on attracting both employees and investors in order to facilitate those connections, and ultimately make money themselves.
