We are on a mission to solve the world’s biggest healthcare challenges - think fertility, and behavioural change around chronic conditions such as weight loss, diabetes, and mental health.
Our take
The consumer-health industry is booming, driven by an ageing population, a proliferation of wellness-related products and services, burgeoning sources of health-related information, and consumers’ desire to control their health. In the UK alone the market is valued at nearly £3 billion, and with considerable growth expected over the next decade, this is a sector ripe with opportunity.
Eucalyptus is gunning to become a big player in this industry. Founded in Australia, its goal is to build digital healthcare solutions for patients all over the world. Founded in 2019, Euc has since launched 5 demographically tailored brands and facilitated over 1 million medical consultations worldwide. Built a team of approaching 500 Eucalypts in 6 countries consisting of medical practitioners, engineers, operators and many more functions! Raised over $100M in funding from the same investors who backed Canva, Uber, and AirBnB.
And in 2024 Eucalyptus's UK market has more than tripled and is on track to ~4-5x by the end of the year. In the UK, Juniper is the core brand, with a focus on tackling obesity through a combination of medication and lifestyle change.
