Company mission

To provide the peace of mind that comes with knowing that you’re helping to keep your family protected.

Our take

Fabric is a life insurance company and mobile app for families at the early stages of parenthood. Owned by Gerber Life Insurance, Fabric uses proprietary technology from its parent company for a suite of products. This includes Fabric Instant for sudden death or accident cover, and Fabric Premium for accidents and illnesses.

Though these offers are nothing new in the world of life insurance, Fabric stands out thanks to its intuitive mobile app and flexible coverage options. Serving thousands of families with its insurance options, Fabric is a small but growing force in the sector. It has raised significant investment and interest, using funds to expand its product suite and accelerate growth.

Benefits

  • Parental leave - Fabric isn't just a great place to be a parent – it's a great place to become a parent, with 12 weeks of both maternal and paternal paid leave.
  • Great benefits - We offer a competitive benefits package, including comprehensive health insurance, a 401(k) plan, three weeks of paid time off, plus everything you’ll need to set up your home office, and more.
  • Fabric lunch Fridays - Lunch is on us every Friday! That’s right, you’ll get reimbursed for that pad thai that you’ve been craving all week. Call it an excuse to treat yo’ self!
  • No meeting days - Once a week, we give those virtual meetings a break so you can enjoy an uninterrupted day – perfect for focusing on your to-do list.
  • Diverse workplace - We’re big on DEI and strive to create an open and transparent work environment – which means published salary bands to promote pay equality, among other initiatives.
  • Fully remote - Yes, we’re fully remote – that means your commute is directly from your bed to your desk, and our dress code is sweatpants-friendly. It also means more flexibility in your schedule and better work-life balance.
