Fika's mission is to mainstream mental fitness.
The workplace mental health tide is slowly turning, with more enterprise employers investing time and training into improving and protecting the mental health of their staff. The pivot to online work has shone an even brighter light on the need to take a proactive approach to the matter, and Fika is part of a growing number of startups helping employers get there.
The Fika platform offers formalised soft skills development courses to improve mental health areas like confidence, stress management, and positivity. From the same platform, employers can then use dashboard analytics to measure employee improvement and return on investment.
By taking a proactive approach, Fika is distinguishing itself from more reactive mental health offerings employers may offer in benefits packages - like Talkspace or Headspace subscriptions. It’s a smart way to get ahead of the increased corporate demand for mental health management services, which is likely to help Fika capitalise on the buzz it’s generating - and its already impressive customer roster, including enterprise organisations like Culture Trip, the NHS, and dfs.
