Our take

Good films and television shows have always been at the mercy of poor overdubbing when translated into foreign languages, rendered unnatural-looking and often comical. Today, many choose subtitles instead or just skip foreign-language films entirely.

Flawless AI managed to create a craze in the Hollywood media for its flagship offering, TrueSync, a visual dubbing software which leverages AI to re-time mouth movements and create near-perfect lip-syncs in any language. Essentially, Flawless is using sophisticated deepfake technology for the good of films and TV.

TrueSync has quickly become a game-changer in the entertainment industry, earning recognition as one of TIME's best inventions of 2021 and winning an AI Tech Award. More recently, Flawless strengthened its leadership with Jen Hollingsworth, former Lionsgate Executive, to help expand its reach.
