Our take
FoodLabs is an early stage Venture Capitalist investor and venture studio that focus on intellectual property and scalable business models toward a more sustainable food industry.
The company has adopted its mission after its founder felt the food industry was treated as one of the most relevant industries for human health but as one of the most irrelevant industries to the climate. The food industry’s contribution to greenhouse emissions is huge, hence this mission is as urgent as ever.
FoodLabs recently closed its new early-stage fund called Food Fund, which will help European innovators create positive change. It also releases important reports such as "Food For Climate" in 2023, which explores the impact of FoodTech starups on the environment. There are countless other opportunities for FoodLabs to help improve food sustainability and the company will do so with its purpose-for-growth approach.
