Forge Nano is a leading materials science company. Its proprietary precision nano-coating technology, Atomic Armor, allows manufacturers to engineer their materials at an atomic level in a way that is both scalable and cost-saving.
The coatings produced by Atomic Armor enable engineers to improve existing materials. When it is applied to lithium-ion batteries, for example, capacity and safety are both improved, making batteries charge faster and last longer. Forge Nano has made several strategic partnerships with leading US producers of materials and battery off-takers, which has been vital to its growth as confidence in its technology grows.
The company’s latest Series C funding round has boosted its total funding up to nearly $100 million. Forge Nano intends to use the funds to accelerate the growth of its commercial-scale nanotechnology opportunities and develop its own battery production line to satisfy full-scale, premium battery contracts.
