Our take

Framestore is a creative studio that provides computer generated imagery solutions for the advertising, entertainment, and film industries. The company collaborates from the conception of a project and brings a creative and technological problem-solving approach to its partners’ business challenges. Its global team is connected through real-time production enabling its 2000+ colleagues to collaborate on projects.

Framestore is headquartered in London, with studios in LA, New York, Chicago, Montréal and Mumbai. Its work ranges from high-profile features including Avengers End Game, Blade Runner 2049 and Gravity; to high-end TV for the likes of Amazon, Netflix and Disney+; to immersive theme park experiences for brands such as Wanda and Lionsgate Entertainment World. In 2016, it became majority-owned by China's Cultural Investment Holdings with several members of the management team, including the founder, retaining minority stakes.

In the future, the company is aiming to scale engine technology in its productions, to bring about innovative features to visual and immersive experiences.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at Framestore

Engy Jarrouj (Talent Partner: Outreach and Inclusion)

  • At Framestore we are committed to providing an inclusive and equitable workplace. In 2020 we created a Social Equity Board which has a diverse set of representatives from every location driving the agenda. To this we have added many more volunteers who are part of one of three working groups focussing on a particular strand of the agenda:
  • the attraction of more diverse talent to the company
  • the retention and development of existing employees/colleagues from under represented communities; and
  • the development of leaders at all levels to support and make effective the creation of a more diverse team
