Traditionally, investing in real estate has only been available to a few, with high net worth requirements followed by a complex process, hidden fees, and middlemen. Fundrise is the largest direct-to-investor real estate platform in the US, making institutional-quality real estate investments available to individual investors of every size.
The company is also expanding beyond its core of real estate investments and into the venture capital market. Its new “Innovation Fund” aims to make venture capital investing as accessible to small investors as it has with real estate. By democratizing access to investments in top private technology firms, Fundrise has the potential to completely transform the entire private market.
