Company mission

To help businesses succeed by helping them find the best, most reliable hourly workers.

Our take

Gigs is a job marketplace that connects those looking for hourly work with available positions in retail, food and beverage, logistics, and hospitality. As a direct rebuttal to the hassle of searching through pages and pages of bulleted text, the platform aims to present the best roles quickly.

The jobs on Gigs are pre-filtered for best pay and "nearest-to-you", making it quick and easy for job-seekers to find good roles. Its feed is image-based and can be organised by neighbourhood if the searcher has a particular zone in mind - in stark contrast to lengthy, unorganised and text-based job boards.

For employers, Gigs has a policy where they only pay for candidates that meet their "must-haves" - which are displayed front-and-center on listings - and offers the function to cap the number of candidates ahead of time. This means they spend less time reviewing, and save money they might have wasted on unqualified workers.

With its unique approach to the hourly jobs market, it is no surprise Gigs has raised a strong round of pre-seed funding. The company will invest the funds in product, engineering, marketing, and sales to broaden its footprint and help more companies find the right candidates for their hourly jobs.
