Company mission

To understand how technology can help patients and healthcare professionals optimise care.

Our take

Gnosis Health is a digital health company sprung out of Newcastle University, built on years of academic research and clinical collaboration. Its mission is simple but ambitious: help people manage long-term conditions, starting with Parkinson's disease. By combining real-time symptom tracking with personalised insights, the company is building tools that fit into everyday life, supported by clinical trials, NHS pilots, medical device certification and backing from Innovate UK.

This mission has just taken a huge step forward, too, with the launch of MAXine, Gnosis Health's first commercial product. MAXine is designed to support patients in the gaps between appointments, where most care actually happens. It brings together a patient app, conversational AI and wearable data into a single platform that adapts over time without becoming overwhelming. For now, it's focused on Parkinson's disease and is being rolled out through a closed clinical trial.

This launch marks the moment Gnosis moves from the lab to the real world. And with early commercial traction and growing interest, the company plans to expand into other chronic conditions and new markets internationally. A public launch is planned for summer 2026, and if early signs are anything to go by, Gnosis is just getting started.
