Our take

In the US, the hospice care industry represents a substantial market, with an estimated worth of approximately $35 billion. However, for-profit hospices and other similar end-of-life care providers are all too often linked to sub-par standards of care and customer service.

The founder of Guaranteed personally experienced the shortcomings of end-of-life care when her father was in critical condition. Motivated by this experience, and driven to provide a superior alternative, she embarked on a mission by launching Guaranteed.

The company blends in-person visits by certified caregivers, with round-the-clock telehealthcare services. It also offers a wealth of educational and grief-management resources to support families during this emotionally challenging period.

Within the expansive healthtech market, end-of-life care has remained largely overlooked. This sector, traditionally institutional and lacking distinct brands, presents an intriguing opportunity for Guaranteed to flourish. And investors agree, supporting the company as it brings much-needed innovation and customer-centric care to end-of-life services.
