About 13% of the global population suffers from some kind of mental disorder. HBGI (Healthy Brains Global Initiative) is a research-based initiative looking to tackle the issue with outcome-based funding projects for brain and mental health. The company looks to target issues with tailored projects and reports on the mental health landscape, ensuring no funding is wasted and mental health/socio-economic issues are tackled.
HBGI is a non-profit, working at the intersection of performance management and mental health. As experts in this field, live projects include: driving Integrated Mental Health in Sub-Saharan Africa, working with California Behavioral Health Services and HBGI’s CEO is also the Chair of several Development Impact Bonds.
The 2020 founded company has pioneered many exciting projects and collaborations attracting the support and partnership of giants like Unicef, Johnson & Johnson and One Mind. HBGI has focused on areas like homelessness and how the climate affects mental health. Future priorities will revolve around Front Line Staff, Prisoners and Veterans.
