Our take
Happiest Baby, which was co-founded by celebrated pediatrician and author Dr. Harvey Karp, has been on a dramatic upward trajectory since releasing the SNOO, a “smart sleeper” bassinet in 2016.
While the company sells a range of sleep-focused products for infants, its flagship offering has attracted huge plaudits (and millions of dollars), for how it automatically soothes irritated babies, helping them to sleep better for longer.
While there was quite a lot of discussion about a potential billion dollar sale or indeed an IPO in 2021, neither has come to pass as of yet. However, that these options have been explored indicates the health that the company is in.
