Our take
HealthHero is a UK-based provider of virtual healthcare services. The company provides users with remote access to vetted healthcare professionals from various areas of expertise, from GPs to mental health professionals and musculoskeletal practitioners.
They employ a B2B2C model in which they work with businesses and insurers and the end beneficiaries of their service are patients, insurance policyholders, and employees. HealthHero is currently providing over 3m consultations per year, which is much more than any of their European competitors.
The company's main priority is the international expansion in particular into Europe. As part of this initiative, the company has completed several strategic acquisitions in the past years, purchasing the french telehealth provider Qare, the digital triage platform Doctorlink and the telemedicine company Fernarzt.
