To be the worlds first provider of drones as a service.
Despite improvements in camera surveillance, the security of industrial places is hugely reliant on gate and patrol security guards. However, it can be difficult to cover large sites – with correspondingly large numbers of blind spots – by manpower alone. Herotech8 provides autonomous drones to compliment existing security patrols, that can be pre-programmed for any route around a facility, easing security operations at large facilities.
Drone surveillance is not a new idea, but what Herotech8 brings to the field is deployability. The autonomy of its drone-in-a-box offerings means that companies do not have employ pilots in place of security personnel, or train existing teams to manage the drones. Predetermined routes and auto-charging make Herotech8’s options affordable and low-hassle for covering blindspots and out-of-reach areas.
Herotech8 has an impressive customer list including BT and EDF Energy, and it has made several partnerships to bring its technology not only to site security but to maintenance as well. In the future, the company has hopes to extend drone-in-a-box purchase and subscriptions to agritech, the medical industry and more.
