I have worked on different projects using different tech stacks, allowing me to learn more and grow my skillset.

At HireSpace, I got the opportunity to plan my day, allowing me to be more productive and also keep a great balance between my life and my work.

People will always be happy and cheerful whenever I release something into Production, which gives me the motivation to always push for more.

I genuinely look forward to all meetings within my team, they're fun to talk and laugh with, and even at another company I would hope to receive a Zoom link so I could join in just to see them.

Paul does a fantastic job of making an effort to comment and praise for good work whether in retro meetings or comments in pull requests.

It's a nice feeling that my thoughts are heard during meetings and brainstorming sessions and when I'm asked directly for my opinion which I appreciate.

We are all on slack and available for ad-hoc coms at any time. From a formal perspective, reviews are carried out and feedback is given in real time by leaders and peers alike.

Very implicated in the business, the details and setting a very clear vision of where we are going strategically.....

At Hire Space every member of the team collaborates across multiple functions and the leadership is extremely implicated(in a supportive and contribution way, not controlling) in everything we do. The business is nimble and time from idea to market is sometimes only days; truly impressive to hear all the time the "how can we get that done?" instead of the "we can't do that because..."

When working at Hire Space, you'll get a lot of autonomy in doing things your way. Of course, there are set ways too but this is not very strict and being autonomous is encouraged.

Team is the best! Always helpful and going above and beyond.

The leadership looks very closely at data and is capable of making the decisions based on that. Also they take human factor into making these too!

Hire Space is a great company to work for! Its an extremely forward-thinking company that really is a leader in the Events Industry! It's filled with intelligent & hardworking people who also like to have a lot of fun so it really is a work-hard, play-hard culture.

I've loved working at Hire Space. Its been the best 3 years! The team is great and really makes it an enjoyable place to work. I also have a very supportive manager who cares about my career development as well as my personal life so its a great balance!

Since I joined Hire Space in December 2019, I have learnt so much! On everything from learning about my new role, being able to purchase books or partake in courses to further my development through Learnably or being trained on virtual and hybrid events after researching the market to understand the best solutions. They keep abreast of what's going on in the industry and speak to their clients regularly to ensure we're trained to provide what is being sought on the market by our clients. We also all learn from each other. There is a really open culture where everyone is encouraged to share their best practices at work or even challenge the status quo to improve something. It's non hierarchical, so everyone's opinion matters.

I have two children under 3, so working from home is really helpful for me with pick-ups and drop-offs at nursery. Hire Space has always supported this option and are really forward-thinking in the way they trust their employees to balance their own work. They even recently proposed extended lunch breaks (I'm terrible at taking breaks!), so looking after their employees always features highly. We all get busy, but they really take the time to see how they can improve things for their staff and in the way we all work.

As part of a sales team, it's always easier to get excited or passionate about what you do when you actually believe you're offering something valuable and different from your competitors. Hire Space are constantly looking to improve what they're doing, whether that is by sourcing the newest and most exciting team activities/event suppliers, using a great tech/product team to create a better way to manage events (Hire Space Pro) or with a completely unique in-house event (like our immersive Big Top experiences inspired by a partnership with the creators of the virtual Burning Man Festival for 2020)!

Hire Space has always been a fast-moving company, but this year especially the company has completely pivoted and adapted to the changing climate very successfully. Hire Space has become the go-to source of knowledge and guidance for the rest of the industry, which is super exciting to be a part of.

Because Ed and Will are Founders as well as CEOs, they are extremely passionate about the company and the events industry, which translates into their day to day running of the company. They are also extremely humble - you can go to them with anything and they will make time for you, and they would never ask anyone to do anything they wouldn't do themselves.

The projects we have been working on this year have been extremely challenging but also incredibly rewarding and exciting.

Hire Space is growing really fast and leading the way in the events industry. This means that my role is consistently changing, in a good way! I've tried so many new things and expanded on my skills set. The great reputation of Hire Space makes working here really exciting and proud of my colleagues.

The energy at Hire Space is great. Everyone works together as a team and celebrates as a team. We're consistently working on cross-team projects so there's plenty of opportunity to work with those outside of your immediate team and try new things.
